INFO-RIGHTS Project

Progress Reporting Meeting

14.04.2025 – Online

During a progress meeting of the INFO-RIGHTS project, key aspects regarding the chatbot’s functionality, implementation challenges, and dissemination strategies were addressed. It was concluded that the current performance of the chatbot must be improved. To this end, technical information will be requested on how to include links in chatbot responses, how information updates are carried out, whether these are performed automatically, and how the chatbot forwards unknown queries to experts. Additionally, the possibility of including a message such as “If you believe this information is incorrect or does not satisfy your request, please contact our expert” was discussed, provided it is technically feasible.

Several relevant issues were identified for further analysis, including privacy and security concerns when contacting experts, the potential consequences of providing incorrect information, and the importance of having experts review both the questions and the answers generated by the system.

Dissemination proposals included distributing informational brochures in workplaces, promoting the chatbot through ALS, and creating a centralized newsletter to inform all partners about the Information Portal and the chatbot in a unified and timely manner.

The meeting also covered the preparation of the project’s information report, which is being translated into partner languages and will soon be added to the portal. Finally, the urgent need to produce 30 short video blogs was highlighted. While 10 potential scenarios have already been drafted, the support of partner experts was requested to develop the remaining ones. Each country was encouraged to propose two scenarios based on a provided template. Additionally, three online training workshops are planned for the coming months, and a follow-up event will be held later in the year to continue evaluating the project’s progress.
